Fresh dill gives this family-friendly dressing great flavour. You can substitute 1 tsp (5 mL) dried dillweed in a pinch.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup buttermilk 2/3 2/3cup cupbuttermilk
- 1/3 cup light mayonnaise 1/3 1/3cup cuplight mayonnaise
- 2 tsp cider vinegar 2 2tsp tspcider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard 1/2 1/2tsp tspDijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tsppepper
- 1 pinch salt 1 1pinch pinchsalt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce 1 1dash dashhot pepper sauce
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill 1 1tbsp tbspchopped fresh dill
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 1 1tbsp tbspchopped fresh parsley
Preparation
In liquid measure or small bowl, whisk together buttermilk, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, pepper, salt and hot pepper sauce. Stir in dill and parsley.
