This easy dip can be made ahead of time or whipped up with pantry ingredients at the last minute. Serve with about 1 cup (250 mL) loosely packed vegetable crudites per person.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cream cheese , softened1/2 1/2cup cupcream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 1/2cup cupsour cream
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise 1/2 1/2cup cuplight mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard 1/2 1/2tsp tspDijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp dried herbes de Provence 1/2 1/2tsp tspdried herbes de Provence
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 1/4tsp tspgarlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 1/4tsp tsponion powder
- 1 pinch salt 1 1pinch pinchsalt
- 1 pinch pepper 1 1pinch pinchpepper
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce 1 1dash dashhot pepper sauce
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives 1 1tbsp tbspchopped fresh chivefresh chives
Preparation
In bowl, beat together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and mustard until smooth. Add herbes de Provence, garlic and onion powders, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce; mix well. Stir in chives.
