Curry Soup Mix
This mix is one my family enjoys on camping trips.
Servings: 2 cups (500 mL)
Ingredients:

1-1/4 cups (300 mL) long-grain rice
1/2 cup (125 mL) golden raisins
1/4 cup (50 mL) minced dried chives
2 tbsp (25 mL) curry powder
1 tbsp (15 mL) salt
2 tsp (10 mL) sweet paprika
1 tsp (5 mL) each dry mustard and ground ginger and coriander
1/4 tsp (1 mL) cayenne pepper
Preparation:
In bowl, combine rice, raisins, chives, curry powder, salt, paprika, mustard, ginger, coriander and cayenne pepper. (Make-ahead: Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.)
