Small pitas stuffed with tuna filling make delicious and fun flying saucers. You'll need two bags (each 6 oz/175 g) of mini pitas.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (each 6 oz/170 g) tuna, drained
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 12 seedless green grapes, quartered
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 24 mini (2-1/2-inch/6 cm) whole wheat pita pockets

Preparation

In bowl, combine tuna, diced celery, diced carrot, light mayonnaise, pumpkin seeds, grapes, salt and pepper. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.)

Cut 2-inch (5 cm) circle from 1 side of each mini pita to make container. Spoon rounded 1 tbsp (15 mL) tuna mixture into each pita.
