Great Canadian Steak Spice
This recipe makes 5 tbsp servings
- Portion size: 5 tbsp (75 mL)
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp 1tbspcoriander seeds, lightly toasted
- 1 tbsp 1tbspblack peppercorns
- 1 tsp 1tspdill seeds
- 4 tsp 4tspcoarse sea salt or kosher salt
- 2 tsp 2tsppaprika
- 2 tsp 2tsphot pepper flakes
- 1-1/2 tsp 1-1/2tspgranulated garlic or garlic powder, (1tsp/5 mL powder)
Preparation
In grinder, coarsely grind together coriander seeds, peppercorns and dillseeds; mix in salt, paprika, hot pepper flakes and garlic. (Make-ahead: Store in airtight container for up to 1 month.)
