Great Canadian Steak Spice

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds, lightly toasted
  • 1 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp dill seeds
  • 4 tsp coarse sea salt or kosher salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp hot pepper flakes
  • 1-1/2 tsp granulated garlic or garlic powder, (1tsp/5 mL powder)

Preparation

In grinder, coarsely grind together coriander seeds, peppercorns and dillseeds; mix in salt, paprika, hot pepper flakes and garlic. (Make-ahead: Store in airtight container for up to 1 month.)
