Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp prepared horseradish
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb large peeled and deveined shrimp, leaving tails on
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped

Preparation

In bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper; set cocktail sauce aside.

In bowl, toss shrimp with oil. Place on greased grill over medium-high heat or under broiler; close lid and grill, turning once, until pink, about 6 minutes.

On salad plates, layer lettuce, avocado and cocktail sauce; top with shrimp.
