Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup 1 1cup cupketchup
- 2 tbsp prepared horseradish 2 2tbsp tbspprepared horseradish
- 1 tsp lemon juice 1 1tsp tsplemon juice
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce 1 1tsp tsphot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 1/2tsp tspsalt
- 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tsppepper
- 1 lb large peeled and deveined shrimp , leaving tails on1 1lb lblarge peeled and deveined shrimp, leaving tails on
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 1tbsp tbspextra virgin olive oil
- 4 cups shredded lettuce 4 4cups cupsshredded lettuce
- 1 avocado , peeled, pitted and chopped1 1avocadoavocados, peeled, pitted and chopped
Preparation
In bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper; set cocktail sauce aside.
In bowl, toss shrimp with oil. Place on greased grill over medium-high heat or under broiler; close lid and grill, turning once, until pink, about 6 minutes.
On salad plates, layer lettuce, avocado and cocktail sauce; top with shrimp.
