This is so rich and authentic that anyone will know it's definitely not from a mix. Garnish with whipped cream and grated chocolate if desired.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) water
  • 3 cups milk

Preparation

In heatproof bowl over saucepan of hot not boiling water, melt chocolate with water until smooth.

Meanwhile, in saucepan, heat milk until steaming and small bubbles appear around edge. Using immersion blender or whisk, blend in chocolate. Pour into mugs.
