Method

Spicy Tartar Sauce In bowl, mix together yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pickles, sambal oelek and dill. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside in refrigerator.

Cod Using meat tenderizer or rolling pin, flatten cod fillets between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/4-inch thickness; season with salt and pepper. Cut fillets in half to obtain 4 pieces.

Place cornstarch in bowl. Place egg in second bowl. In third bowl, combine nutritional yeast and bread crumbs. Dredge fish pieces in cornstarch, then in eggs, then in bread crumb mixture.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place coated fillets in basket and spray them with cooking spray. (If all four don’t fit, cook in batches of two.) Cook for 10 to 12 minutes. (Repeat with remaining fillets if necessary.) Serve Cod Schnitzels with reserved Spicy Tartar Sauce, fresh dill and lemon wedges.
