Ingredients
- 1 8-inch cucumber 1 18-inch cucumbercucumbers
- 1 cup water 1 1cup cupwater
- 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/4 1/4cup cupwhite vinegar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 1/4cup cupgranulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds 1/4 1/4tsp tspmustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp celery seeds 1/4 1/4tsp tspcelery seeds
Preparation
Peel and slice cucumber thinly; place in bowl. In saucepan, bring water, vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed and celery seed to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar; pour over cucumber. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Strain before serving.
