Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Mix

This classic is a great gift for a hostess or teacher. Put the mix in a jar, tin or handsome mugs and tie on a bundle of extra marshmallows with a festive ribbon. Add instructions to the gift tag saying to stir 1/4 cup (50 mL) mix into 1 cup (250 mL) very hot milk.

3/4 cup (175 mL) instant dissolving (fruit/berry) sugar
1/2 cup (125 mL) cocoa powder
1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon (optional)
2 cups (500 mL) mini-marshmallows
Preparation:
In bowl, stir together skim milk powder, sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon (if using). Stir in marshmallows. Spoon into airtight containers and seal. (Make-ahead: Store for up to 1 month.)
