Meringue Powder Royal Icing
Servings: 2-1/2 cups (625 mL)
Ingredients:

1/4 cup (50 mL) meringue powder
4-1/2 cups (1.125 L) icing sugar
Preparation:
In large bowl, beat meringue powder with 1/2 cup (125 mL) water until foamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in icing sugar until stiff, about 9 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for up to 2 days. When using, keep icing covered with plastic wrap to prevent drying out.
