Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats, (not instant)
  • 1/4 cup fancy molasses
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1-1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups white bread flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1-1/4 tsp bread machine yeast

Preparation

Into pan of bread machine, place in order: water, oats, molasses, sugar, butter, egg, salt, white bread flour, whole wheat flour and yeast. Set on Whole Wheat setting.
