Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Porridge

Ingredients

  • 3 cups unsweetened apple juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 apple peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cup raisin (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

In saucepan, bring apple juice and salt to boil; whisk in rolled oats, apple, raisins (if using) and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, until desired thickness, 4 to 5 minutes.
