Very elegant, even though it's just a casserole. Definitely will impress company. Winner on taste but not for dieters.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheese grated
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 -3 crowns broccoli cut


Add chicken, onion and celery to boiling, lightly salted water and boil until tender, about 10-15 mins. Drain but save broth to cook rice as a side dish. Cool enough to pull chicken from bone.

Cook or steam broccoli until tender, about 10 mins. In medium bowl, add soup, cream, cheese, juice/wine, Worcestershire sauce and mayo. Mix together.

In large square deep casserole dish, arrange broccoli as one layer. Next, over broccoli, add chicken with the onion and celery. Pour sauce over chicken. In little bowl, combine crumbs and butter. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole.

Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top. Place in pre-heated oven of 350 F degrees for minimum of 30 minutes.
