Gazpacho Smoothie

This zesty vegetable smoothie is for people who prefer savoury to sweet. You can add 1/2 tsp (2 mL) hot pepper sauce or turn it into a smoothie cocktail by adding a shot of vodka.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato
  • 1 chunk cucumber chopped
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method

In blender, pur?together tomatoes, cucumber, ice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt and pepper until smooth; stir in garlic.
