This classic martini variation from the 1940s - garnished with cocktail onions and lemon rind - goes well with Gravlax (recipe below).

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz dry gin
  • 1/2 oz dry vermouth
  • 3 cocktail onions
  • lemon rind

Method

In ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake gin with vermouth. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with onions and lemon rind.

Serve with Gravlax.
