  • 1 lb trimmed green bean
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


In saucepan of boiling salted water, cook green beans for 7 minutes; drain. In same pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat; cook garlic and thyme for 1 minute. Return beans to pan; toss with salt and pepper.
