Great for a quick kids' lunch or dinner idea or even as a quick snack. Serve with a soup or salad and enjoy it while it's hot!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 slice processed cheese
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

Method

Spread margarine or butter on only one side of each of the two slices of bread. Place slice of processed cheese between the two slices of bread keeping the buttered sides facing out. Place sandwich on a non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat until bread is dark golden brown (keep checking it as it browns quickly) and flip sandwich over on its other buttered side and leave it to brown on the other side when the cheese will also have melted to perfection! Remove from heat and enjoy fresh and hot! It couldn't get any easier or cheesier than that! For a lower fat option, you can lightly oil the fry pan instead of using butter or margarine or better yet don't use anything at all on the outside of the bread.
