There's nothing like a warm drink to welcome guests on a cold winter day. Sweeten it with honey or sugar if desired.

Ingredients

  • 4 cinnamon sticks broken
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 strips (3x1 inch/8x25 cm) orange rind
  • 4 cups cranberry cocktail
  • 4 cups hot brewed tea

Method

Tie cinnamon, star anise, cloves and orange rind in cheesecloth square. In saucepan, heat cranberry cocktail with spice bag over low heat for 15 minutes. Discard spice bag. Stir in tea. Keep warm.
