Mussels Marinara

Serve with a fresh baguette. These mussels taste great - like you're in an Italian Bistro.

  • 1 bag 2 lbs mussel cleaned
  • 5 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • 1/2 bunch parsley chopped
  • 4 Roma tomatoes chopped


1. Clean mussels remove any hair, soak in a bowl to remove dirt and sand 2. Heat Olive Oil in a large pot over Medium heat. Add garlic cook for one minute. Add onion and tomato cook until almost soft. Add white wine, parsley and butter. Bring to a boil, boil until the liquid has reduced by half - approx 15 min 3. Add the mussels, cover and cook for 15 min. discard any that don't open.
