Oat Bran

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup large-flake rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran
  • 2 tablespoons wheat bran
  • 2 tablespoons raisins chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dried fruit chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seed
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

In 2-cup (500 mL) microwaveable bowl, combine rolled oats, oat bran, raisins, sesame seeds and salt ; stir in 1 cup (250 mL) water. Cover and microwave on high, stirring once, for 2 minutes or until oats are tender and water is absorbed. Let stand for 1 minute
