Petits Pois with Onion and Mint

Highlighted with mint, small peas measure up for a special occasion.

  • Portion size 8 servings


  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 3 pkg (each 350 g) frozen petits pois
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • salt and pepper


In large saucepan, heat butter over medium heat; cook onion and mint for 2 minutes. Stir in peas and water; cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
