Salad Bar Setup

The great thing about a salad bar is the choice your guests will have, so offer a variety of toppings that appeal to both adults and children. Here's enough to feed eight to 10 people.

Ingredients

  • 16 cups mixed salad greens romaine_lettuce or baby spinach (or a combination)
  • 8 cups finely shredded red cabbage about half a cabbage
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 1 sweet yellow pepper and/or orange pepper
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 2 cups sliced English cucumbers
  • 2 cups chick peas drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups cubed feta cheese
  • 2 cups cubed Gouda cheese
  • 2 cups cubed bocconcini cheese
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 cup thinly sliced radish
  • 1 cup black oil-cured olives
  • 1/2 cup seeds pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup nut pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup seeds such as sunflower or pumkin seeds, pecans or walnuts

  • 1 cup creamy dill ranch dressing
