Taco Dip

Bake and serve hot with nacho chip, veggie sticks or crackers.

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small bottle salsa
  • 4 oz cream cheese (light works well)
  • 1 cup sour cream (light works well)
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 sweet red pepper diced
  • 1 sweet green pepper diced
  • 1 medium onion diced


Fry out hamburger. Saute peppers until tender crisp. Drain any fat. Stir in salsa. Spread into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix cream cheese and sour cream (works better if cream cheese has softened for a while at room temperature. Spread evenly over hamburger mixture. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
