- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1/3 cup water (approx)
MethodIn large bowl, whisk flour with baking powder.
Whisk together egg, milk and butter; stir into flour mixture. Stir in water, 1 tbsp at a time, to form soft dough, adding up to 2 tbsp more if necessary.
Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth, about 10 times. Cover with plastic wrap or damp towel; let rest for 20 minutes.
