A little salt and a dash of sugar cut the tang of grapefruit juice in this refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients

1 -1/2 oz. vodka or gin
Pinch granulated sugar
Grapefruit juice
Lime wedge
Pinch salt
Preparation
Mix salt and sugar and spread out on a sheet of aluminum foil or wax paper. Wipe the rim of an Old Fashioned glass with lime wedge and roll glass in salt-sugar mixture until rim is evenly coated. Fill chilled glass with several ice cubes, vodka, and grapefruit juice and stir.
