Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil 1 1tbsp tbspvegetable oil

- 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tsppepper
- 1 baguette , about 24 inches/60 cm1 1baguettebaguettes, about 24 inches/60 cm
- 2 cups shredded smoked mozzarella cheese 2 2cups cupsshredded smoked mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup packed fresh basil leaves 1/3 1/3cup cuppacked fresh basil leaffresh basil leaves
- 2 tomatoes , sliced2 2tomatotomatoes, sliced
Preparation
In skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saut?nions, garlic, mushrooms, salt, Italian seasoning and pepper until golden, about 6 minutes.
Halve baguette lengthwise then crosswise; place on rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with half of the cheese; top with 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the basil, mushroom mixture,then tomatoes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake in 400°F (200°C) oven until cheese is melted, 10 minutes. Slice remaining basil; sprinkle over top. Cut into 8 pieces.
