Smooth Chocolate Glaze

Tested Till Perfect

Dip cupcake tops into this warm, not-too-sweet silky chocolate mixture, then let stand until set.

Servings: 2/3 cup (150 mL), enough for 12 cupcakes

Preparation:

In saucepan, heat cream just until boiling; pour over chocolate and butter in bowl, whisking until smooth. Let cool slightly, about 10 minutes.

    Chilled Chocolate Spread: Refrigerate glaze until thickened but not firm, 15 to 20 minutes. Spread over cupcakes.
