Quickly cooked beans tossed with crisp and colourful red pepper makes an eye-appealing side dish.

Preparation
In steamer over simmering water, steam green beans just until tender-crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, seed, core and cut red pepper into strips. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook red pepper, stirring, until tender-crisp, about 2 minutes.
Add green beans, basil, salt and pepper; toss to combine.
