    1 banana
    2 cups (500 mL) pineapple or orange juice
    2 cups (500 mL) frozen mixed tropical fruit

Preparation:

Peel banana and break up into chunks; place in blender. Add pineapple juice and frozen tropical fruit; purée until smooth.

  • Variation
    Creamy Tropical Smoothie: Omit 1 cup (250 mL) of the pineapple juice. Add 1 cup (250 mL) plain or flavoured yogurt.
