Mercury Retrograde Is Happening 3 Times This Year, Starting on April Fool’s Day

With April on the horizon, the stars are getting ready for an exciting cosmic phenomenon: Mercury retrograde!

A Mercury retrograde never goes unnoticed, creating both fascination and concern among astrology aficionados.

This year, Mercury will be in retrograde three times, with the first time already fast approaching (and, no, it isn’t an April Fool’s joke)!

Here are the dates to remember:

  • April 1 to April 25, 2024: Mercury retrograde in Aries
  • August 5 to August 28, 2024: Mercury retrograde in Leo
  • November 26 to December 16, 2024: Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius

What exactly is a Mercury retrograde?

Mercury retrograde occurs when the planet seems to be moving backwards in its orbit relative to the Earth, giving the impression that it’s moving in reverse. This astrological phenomenon is often associated with communication problems, misunderstandings and delays in projects.

So what does it mean?

Mercury retrograde periods are good for re-evaluating our choices, clarifying misunderstandings and resolving outstanding issues. It's an ideal time to slow down, take a step back and reflect on our past and future actions.

How do we navigate this period?

As we prepare to experience the first retrograde cycle of the year, it's important to take a deep breath and navigate through it calmly, without rushing. Try to have wisdom and patience when it comes to decision-making and relationships.
