Our Favourite Met Gala Looks From A Night Of Reawakening
As fashion's biggest night of the year comes to a close, we're sharing the outfits that made the biggest waves.
Whether you're a fashion connoisseur or have no interest in it whatsoever, you've probably heard about the Met Gala.
Each year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City holds a fundraising event on the first Monday of May attended by some of the biggest names in culture. Movie stars, models, designers and athletes alike walk the red carpet in the most extravagant looks that reflect the theme of the year's gala.
This year, the Costume Institute exhibition at the Met is titled "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," and features over 250 items from its permanent collection, many of which have rarely been seen in public before. The night's theme, "Garden of Time," evokes a sentiment of nostalgia and otherworldliness.
