Everyone is on a budget. Especially during the holidays. 12 gift ideas under $12.00!     Why 12.00? I could say it's because of the 12 days of Christmas...but, the truth is, I wanted to do $10.00 and under, but wanted to make sure all costs included the applicable taxes.  Darn taxes!

It's always nice to remember those who have touched our lives. A small token of holiday cheer makes such a difference to those who aren't expecting it. I like to think about our school crossing guard, who helps my boys cross the street everyday. Ensures that they walk and not run; The cafeteria lady, who helps feed them. And makes sure they get some vegetables too; Their teachers, who help guide them in the classroom and in the playground; Our neighbour who, bless his heart, cleans our driveway when it's stacked with snow. He takes out his little snowblower and does the entire court.  Or, my other neighbour who watches my children play outside when I quickly have to check on dinner. My work colleague, who understands that some days I'm grumpy and it's okay. Yet, still shares her snacks with me. A small gesture of thanks...
