My colleague Helen's written about 25 reasons it was great to be a girl in the 80s (although she left out The Breakfast Club) and it got me thinking about three things my kids will almost certainly never do that I did all the time. 1. Be tethered to a rotary phone -- where parents can hear the conversation. Or, for that matter, dial anyone. 2. Wait in line and hope they don't run out of copies of the latest release iTunes, yo. 3. Ride in the 'far back' of the station wagon It's amazing we survived. What will your kids never do that you did growing up?
