Wanuskewin Heritage Park
Located just north of Saskatoon, Wanuskewin celebrates 6,000 years of local Aboriginal history, including worship, hunting, celebration and spirituality, with interpretive offerings in the form of performing arts, baking and archaeological finds. For a unique learning vacation, indulge in Wanuskewin's "Pê-nipatân" (come and sleep over), where families and individuals alike can overnight in a tepee and enjoy traditional stories, bannock and muskeg tea by the fire.
The Saskatoon Princess
This one-hour tour takes passengers under some of the city's picturesque bridges, past the downtown area and along the river valley, all the while highlighting Saskatoon's landmarks, history and cultural attractions. May to September only.

The Berry Barn
Sure, the homestyle borscht and perogies are wonderful, but it's the yummy Saskatoon berry pie that you'll remember forever. You can also pick your own berries and visit the flower gardens and greenhouse. April to October only.
Saskatoon Station Place
Located on Idylwyld Drive North, Saskatoon Station Place offers not only a tasty menu of prime rib and steak, but a historical journey into centuries past. The restaurant was designed on a railroad concept, and includes original CNR dining cars and railway artifacts.
Where to stay
Sargent's Holiday Farm
For an authentic farm experience, spend a night or two at a country guest ranch. Depending on the time of year, you can take part in horseback riding, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and more. Summer offers a great bonus for parents -- a weekly camp for the kids with swimming, riding, wiener roasts, wagon rides, campfires and crafts.
Candle Lake Provincial Park
With over 140 campsites just steps from one of Canada's finest inland beaches and from the fragile Minowukaw sand dunes, Candle Lake is the perfect place to kick back and unwind from a packed touring schedule. The park offers great fishing, boating and waterskiing, while the small resort village of Candle Lake has a variety of restaurants, gardens, golfing and more.
