Last year I stumbled upon a press release for a Canadian jewelry line called The Right Hand Gal. Their claim to fame was stackable rings that contained wee little diamonds in them. The fact sheet said something to the effect of: "The left hand is for the guys – and the right hand is for the gals." That cheesy slogan combined with the precious mini rings solidified my love for stackable jewelry. They're covetable, collectible and customizable – making them the perfect gift for any lady on your list who loves jewelry.

This year I discovered a new Canadian jewelry company that I fell hard for – and guess what? They also do stackable rings, but in a very different style. The company is named after the designer herself –  Hera. I only had to gaze upon a few of the pieces to see that Hera's jewelry is inspired by nature and exotic cultures. Bottom: $295, $75, $295."] [/caption] What makes  Hera unique is that many of the pieces are interchangeable, so over time you can build and layer different looks. The versatile pieces are created in different precious metals, such as silver and 18-karat gold, and many are sprinkled with diamonds and uniquely cut gemstones. They're a great gift idea because you can contribute to a person's special collection over many occasions. Might I add, the price point is reasonable, too. In a deskside I had with Hera a few months back she said that when you're starting your stackable ring collection you need at least three rings – so we're giving away three Hera rings!
