This unisex scarf will be your go-to knitting project for any special occasion and is easily customizable to suit every style.

The Rana Checkered Scarf is a classic unisex scarf that you can knit in two sizes with a variety of different yarns. This scarf makes a great gift for everyone on your list as you can customize the yarn, width, and length to suit every style. Once you have made one Rana Checkered Scarf, you will want to make many more.

Knitting Tips:

Simple to knit, this scarf is suitable for knitters of all skill levels who have mastered the basic knit and purl stitches. The pattern involves checkers with a narrow garter border to create a clean edge. Once you have established the pattern, you will no longer need to refer to the instructions. This project is great for mindless knitting that you can easily pick up mid-row. Keep in mind that if knitting the scarf version you use 4.5 mm (US 7) needles and 2 skeins of yarn, for the wrap you use 3.75 mm (US 5) needles and 3 skeins of yarn.
