Drizzle this vinaigrette over romaine hearts and sprinkle with leftover Herbed Bread Crumb Topping instead of traditional croutons for an amazing take on the traditional Caesar salad.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4 to 6 anchovy fillets or 1 tbsp anchovy paste (approx)
  • 2 cloves garlic , finely grated or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon liquid honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

In glass measure or small bowl, combine oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, anchovies to taste, garlic, honey, pepper and salt. Using immersion blender, purée until smooth.
