Pomegranate Juice

A sweet-tart juice derived from pomegranates. Used to make Grenadine, the juice was considered medicinal in ancient times. Now, with recent studies showing that it is rich in antioxidants and may help reduce hardening of the arteries, pomegranate juice, in bottles, is becoming a familiar item on supermarket shelves.
