If your family likes it spicy, increase the chipotle chili to taste. Concerned about sodium? Replace sodium-reduced chicken broth with water and look for no-salt-added canned beans.
Every great barbecue sauce is savoury, sweet, hot and sour, and this lip-smacking version is no exception. Best of all, you can make it with common pantry ingredients that you already have in your kitchen. Brush it onto grilled chicken, ribs and any kind of chops.
Serve these chicken fingers with honey or plum sauce for dipping. Panko (Japanese bread crumbs) gives them a deliciously crunchy crust.
