Feta Cheese

Made with fresh curd set in a concentrated salt solution, made from either goat's or sheep's milk. All brands are chemical-free. The name comes from the Modern Greek tyri pheta (tyri, meaning "cheese", and pheta, meaning "slice") and the Italian fetta, meaning "slice." Originally from Greece but today made in many countries, feta is used in numerous Greek recipes.
